3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Prepare the Wall and TV
- Locate Studs/Determine Wall Type: For drywall, use a stud finder to locate wooden studs. For concrete or brick, ensure the wall is solid and capable of supporting the weight of the TV and mount.
- Mark Drilling Locations: Hold the mounting plate against the wall at the desired height and use a pencil to mark the drilling points. Use an integrated bubble level (if available on the mount) or a separate level to ensure the plate is perfectly horizontal.

4. Operating Instructions
The Philips SQM3221/27 is a fixed-position wall mount, meaning once installed, the TV's position is static. There are no adjustable movements for tilt, swivel, or extension. The primary operational feature is the lockable safety bar.
- Lockable Safety Bar: After hanging the TV on the wall plate, ensure the safety screws at the bottom of the TV brackets are fully tightened. This mechanism secures the display in place, preventing accidental slippage and providing protection against theft.
