Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to install your LPHUMEX Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit:

  1. Prepare for Installation: Before starting, ensure the power to your ceiling fan is completely off at the circuit breaker. This is critical for safety.
  2. Access Fan Wiring: Carefully lower the canopy of your ceiling fan to expose the existing wiring connections.
  3. Connect the Receiver: The receiver unit has clearly labeled wires. Connect them as follows using the provided wire nuts:
    • Connect the receiver's input wires (usually black and white) to the main power supply wires from your ceiling.
    • Connect the receiver's output wires (usually black for fan, blue for light, and white for neutral) to the corresponding wires of your ceiling fan motor and light kit.
    • Ensure all connections are secure.
  4. Position the Receiver: The compact size of the receiver allows it to fit into most fan canopies. Carefully tuck the receiver and wires into the canopy, ensuring there is enough space and no wires are pinched.
  5. Secure the Canopy: Reattach the fan canopy securely to the ceiling fan mounting bracket.
  6. Install Remote Holder: Mount the remote control wall holder in a convenient location using the provided screws.
  7. Insert Batteries: Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control transmitter.
  8. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
