Setup and Assembly
1. Unpacking:
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport. Verify that all parts listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
2. Attaching the Hose:
- Locate the flexible hose.
- Insert the hose cuff into the suction inlet on the front of the vacuum unit until it clicks securely into place.
3. Assembling the Wand and Floor Tool:
- Connect the two chrome wand sections together.
- Attach the curved handpiece to the top of the assembled wand.
- Select the desired floor tool (Turbo Brush for carpets or hard-floor tool for hard surfaces).
- Attach the chosen floor tool to the bottom of the assembled wand.
- Insert the curved handpiece into the end of the flexible hose.

4. Installing the Dust Bag:
The Henry Xtra 160 uses disposable dust bags. Ensure a bag is correctly installed before operation.
- Unclip and remove the motor head from the canister.
- Ensure the MicroTex filter is properly seated.
- Slide the cardboard collar of a new dust bag onto the inlet tube inside the canister. Ensure the bag is fully open and positioned correctly within the canister.
- Replace the motor head, ensuring it is securely clipped.
Operation
1. Powering On/Off:
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The Henry Xtra 160 features an automatic cord rewind system. To operate, press the red ON/OFF switch located on the top of the motor head.
2. Using the Floor Tools:
- Turbo Brush: Ideal for carpets and picking up pet hair. The air-driven brush agitates carpet fibers for deeper cleaning.
- Hard-Floor Tool: Designed for optimal suction and maneuverability on hard surfaces such as wood, tile, and laminate.

3. Using Accessories:

- Carefully pull the cardboard collar of the full dust bag off the inlet tube. Use the self-seal tab to close the bag opening.
- Dispose of the full bag responsibly.
- Install a new dust bag as described in the "Setup and Assembly" section.
- Replace the motor head.
2. Cleaning the Filters:
The MicroTex filter provides excellent filtration. Periodically check and clean the filter to maintain suction and air quality.
- Unplug the vacuum.
- Remove the motor head.
- Gently remove the MicroTex filter.
- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to dislodge dust. Do not wash the filter unless specified by the manufacturer.
- Reinstall the filter, ensuring it is correctly seated before replacing the motor head.
3. Cleaning the Turbo Brush:
Hair and debris can become tangled around the brush roll. Regularly inspect and clean the brush roll for optimal performance.
- Unplug the vacuum and detach the Turbo Brush from the wand.
- Using scissors, carefully cut away any tangled hair or threads from the brush roll.
- Remove the debris.
