2. Product Overview

3. Setup and Installation

The TOOWELL Motion Sensor Ceiling Light is designed for quick and easy installation without the need for electrical wiring. Follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the Light: Gently twist the back plate of the light counter-clockwise to detach it from the main light unit.
  2. Install Batteries: Insert 4 D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.

  4. Reattach Back Plate: Align the back plate with the light unit and twist clockwise to secure it.

  6. Mount the Base Plate: Choose a desired location on the ceiling or wall. Use the included screws and anchors to securely mount the base plate.

  8. Attach the Light Unit: Align the light unit with the mounted base plate and twist clockwise until it clicks into place.

  10. Remove Protective Film: Kindly note that a blue protective film is stuck on the silver part of the light to keep it clean. You can tear this film off before use for optimal appearance.

4. Operating Instructions

Your TOOWELL Motion Sensor Ceiling Light offers two operating modes:

  • Daylight Mode: Slide the switch on the light to the 'Daylight' (sun icon) position. In this mode, the motion sensor will activate the light whenever motion is detected, regardless of ambient light conditions (day or night). The light will turn off automatically after 20 seconds of no motion.
  • Daylight/Night Mode: Slide the switch on the light to the 'Daylight/Night' (moon icon) position. In this mode, the motion sensor will only activate the light when motion is detected in low-light or dark conditions (at night). The light will turn off automatically after 20 seconds of no motion.

The built-in PIR infrared motion detector has a 120-degree detection angle and can detect motion from up to 20 feet away.

5. Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: When the light begins to dim or fails to activate, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in the 'Setup and Installation' section to safely replace the 4 D-cell batteries.
  • Cleaning: To clean the light fixture, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electronic components.
  • LED Lifespan: The integrated LED lights are designed for a long lifespan and do not require replacement.
