The Fuse Reel The Side Kick is a collapsible charger organizer designed to streamline cable management for your MacBook and PC charging cords. It provides a compact and organized solution for both travel and daily use, preventing tangled cables and protecting your charger.

2. Compatibility

The Side Kick is compatible with a wide range of chargers, including Apple Chargers (60W, 61W/67W USB-C, 70W, 85W, 87W/96W USB-C, 140W Magsafe) and various PC chargers. It is designed to fit charging bricks larger than 2.5 x 2.5 inches (65 x 65 mm).

Important: Not recommended for charging bricks smaller than 2.5 x 2.5 inches (65 x 65 mm).

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to attach The Side Kick to your compatible charger:

  1. Clean Surface: Ensure the surface of your charger brick is clean and dry before application.
  2. Attach Adhesive: Peel off the protective backing from the adhesive pad on The Side Kick.
  3. Position: Carefully align The Side Kick with one side of your charger brick. Ensure the 'PUSH' button is facing outwards.
  4. Secure: Press firmly to secure The Side Kick to the charger. Allow the adhesive to set for a few minutes before use.

4. Operating Instructions

Once attached, The Side Kick simplifies cable management:

  1. Extend for Winding: Gently press the 'PUSH' button on The Side Kick to extend the winding mechanism.
  2. Wind Cable: Begin winding your charging cable around the extended mechanism. The Side Kick replaces traditional adapter clips and allows for quick winding.
  3. Secure Cable Ends: Utilize the integrated 'Snotch' cable latch to secure the ends of your cable, preventing unraveling and damage.
  4. Adjust Cable Length: The design allows you to adjust the exposed cable length, using only what you need.
  5. Retract for Storage: Once the cable is wound, gently push the mechanism back into its collapsed position for compact storage.
