2. Important Safety Information
- Battery Safety: Use only specified battery types (1x AA or 1x 14500 3.7V). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Ensure correct polarity during installation. Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period.

6. Setup
6.1 Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tail-cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert one (1) AA battery or one (1) 14500 3.7V rechargeable battery into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail-cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Power On/Off
Press the button on the tail-cap to turn the flashlight ON or OFF.
7.2 Changing Lighting Modes
With the flashlight ON, lightly press the tail-cap button (without fully clicking) to cycle through the three lighting modes:
- High Brightness
- Low Brightness
- Strobe (SOS)
A full click of the tail-cap button will turn the flashlight off. When turned back on, it will resume the last used mode.
7.3 Adjusting Focus (Zoom Function)
To adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight, gently pull or push the head of the flashlight forward or backward. This retractable design allows for precise control over the light beam.

8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the light becomes dim or stops functioning. Always use fresh batteries of the specified type.
- Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings and threads to maintain water resistance and smooth operation.
