5. Setup

5.3. Mounting the Safe

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting Your User Code
The user code is the primary code for daily access.
- With the safe door open, locate the red or green reset button on the inside of the door or near the battery compartment.
- Press the reset button. The display will show '------' or 'PROGRAM'.
- Enter your desired 3 to 6 digit user code on the keypad.
- Press the '#' or 'ENTER' button to confirm. The display will show 'GOOD' or 'SUCCESS'.
- Test the new code with the door open before closing it.
6.2. Setting Your Master Code
The master code provides an alternative access method and can override the user code. Consult your specific model's detailed instructions for master code programming, as the procedure may vary slightly.
- Typically, with the door open, press '0' twice, then the reset button.
- Enter your desired 3 to 6 digit master code.
- Press '#' or 'ENTER' to confirm.
- Test the master code with the door open.
6.3. Opening the Safe
