Introduction

The Clore Automotive Jump-N-Carry JNC550A is a multi-function jump start system designed for reliable vehicle starting and tire inflation. It features exclusive Clore PROFORMER battery technology, engineered to deliver high peak amps, extended cranking power, and a long service life. This unit also includes an integrated air compressor for tire maintenance and USB output for charging small electronic devices.

Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the JNC550A unit. Connect the provided JNC350 Charging Cable to the unit's charging port and plug it into a standard wall outlet. The unit features an automatic charging system. Monitor the digital display for battery status. A full charge ensures optimal performance and extends battery life.

Master ON/OFF Switch

Locate the master ON/OFF switch on the unit's control panel. This switch disables the unit during storage and transport to prevent accidental discharge or operation. Ensure the unit is in the 'OFF' position when not in use or when being transported.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

1. Ensure the JNC550A's master ON/OFF switch is in the 'OFF' position.
2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's discharged battery.
3. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to a solid, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's chassis, away from the battery and fuel lines.
4. Turn the JNC550A's master ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
5. Attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait a few minutes before trying again.
6. Once the vehicle starts, turn the JNC550A's master ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
7. Disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp.
8. Store the clamps securely in their designated holders on the unit.

Using the Air Compressor

1. Ensure the JNC550A's master ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
2. Uncoil the air hose from the unit.
3. Securely attach the air hose chuck to the valve stem of the tire or inflatable item.
4. Turn on the air compressor switch.
5. Monitor the integrated air gauge for the desired pressure.
6. Once the desired pressure is reached, turn off the air compressor switch.
7. Disconnect the air hose chuck from the valve stem and recoil the hose.

Charging Electronic Devices (USB Output)

The JNC550A features a 5V/2.4A USB output port for charging small electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets.

1. Ensure the JNC550A's master ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
2. Plug your device's USB charging cable into the USB output port on the JNC550A.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to your electronic device.
4. The device should begin charging.

Using the LED Task Light
