1. Important Safety Information
WARNING: Risk of Suffocation
- Infants have suffocated on inflatable mattresses. Never place an infant 0-15 months and younger to sleep on an inflatable mattress.
- This product is not a toy. Do not use in water.
- Provide at least a shoulder width space between the mattress and walls, dressers, or other vertical objects to avoid entrapment.
- Always keep the mattress fully inflated when in use.
- At first inflation, the material will STRETCH, which is sometimes misinterpreted as leaking. You will sense a loss of pressure; this is just the bed stretching. Simply re-inflate the bed again. The bed will fully settle within 2-3 nights.

4. Operating
Once inflated, the Intex Dura-Beam Standard Downy Air Mattress is ready for use. Ensure the mattress is placed on a smooth, clean surface free of sharp objects. For optimal comfort and support, ensure the mattress is fully inflated before each use.
Deflation:
- Locate the 2-in-1 valve.
- Open both the inner and outer caps of the valve.
- Allow the air to escape naturally. For faster deflation, you can gently roll the mattress from the opposite end towards the valve.
- Once deflated, fold or roll the mattress for storage.
5. Maintenance
Cleaning:
- To clean the mattress, simply wipe with a damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the material.
- Ensure the mattress is completely dry before storing to prevent mold or mildew.
Storage:
- After deflating and cleaning, fold or roll the mattress neatly.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Keep away from sharp objects or pests that could puncture the material.
Repair:
- A repair patch is included with your air mattress.
- In case of a small puncture, follow the instructions provided with the repair patch to fix the leak.
6. Troubleshooting
Mattress seems to be losing air:
- Initial Stretching: As mentioned in the safety section, new PVC material will stretch during the first few inflations. This is normal and not a leak. Simply re-inflate the mattress to your desired firmness. The material will stabilize after 2-3 nights of use.
- Valve Not Fully Closed: Ensure both the inner and outer caps of the 2-in-1 valve are securely closed after inflation.
- Temperature Changes: Air inside the mattress can contract in cooler temperatures, making the mattress feel softer. Add more air if needed.
- Puncture: Inspect the mattress surface for any small holes or punctures. Use the included repair patch to seal any leaks.
Difficulty inflating:
- Foot Pump Usage: Ensure you are pressing down firmly and completely on the foot pump mechanism.
- Valve Obstruction: Check the valve for any debris or obstructions that might prevent proper airflow.
