3. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for safe operation. If you are unsure, consult a qualified technician.

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the stove from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain packaging for potential future transport.
  2. Placement: Place the stove on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate clearance from walls and flammable materials. The stove is designed for countertop installation.
  3. Gas Connection:
    • Ensure the main gas supply valve is in the OFF position.
    • Connect a suitable gas hose (not included) to the gas inlet on the back of the stove and to your gas supply regulator.
    • Use appropriate gas-rated sealant tape on threaded connections to prevent leaks.
    • Tighten all connections securely, but do not overtighten.
    • Perform a leak test using soapy water on all connections. Bubbles indicate a leak. If a leak is detected, tighten the connection or replace the hose/sealant. Do not use an open flame for leak detection.
