Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb amplifier:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage.
2. Placement: Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
3. Power Connection: Connect the supplied power cord to the amplifier's AC inlet and then to a grounded electrical outlet.

Front Panel Controls

• INPUTS (1 & 2): Connect your instrument here. Input 1 has higher sensitivity.
• NORMAL CHANNEL:
  • VOLUME: Adjusts the overall loudness of the Normal channel.
  • TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency response.
  • BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency response.
• VIBRATO CHANNEL:
  • VOLUME: Adjusts the overall loudness of the Vibrato channel.
  • TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency response.
  • BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency response.
  • REVERB: Controls the amount of spring reverb effect.
  • SPEED: Adjusts the rate of the tremolo effect.
  • INTENSITY: Adjusts the depth of the tremolo effect.
• PILOT LAMP: Indicates power status.
• POWER SWITCH: Turns the amplifier on/off.

Rear Panel Features

The rear panel offers modern connectivity and flexibility:

• OUTPUT POWER SELECTOR: Allows selection of full power (100W) or five attenuated settings for reduced volume without sacrificing tone.
• BALANCED XLR LINE OUTPUT: Provides a balanced output with impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations for direct recording or PA system connection.
• MUTE SWITCH: Silences the speaker output for silent stage use or recording.
• USB PORT: For firmware upgrades and maintenance.
• FOOTSWITCH JACK: Connect the included 2-button footswitch.
