Setup

Before first use, follow these steps:

  1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
  2. Wash the glass jar, plastic jar, lids, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
  3. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
  4. Ensure the blender is unplugged from the power outlet before assembly.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to blend your ingredients:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Add your desired ingredients to either the glass mason jar or the plastic jar. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally frozen fruits or ice. Do not exceed the MAX fill line on the jar.
  2. Attach Blade Assembly: Screw the stainless steel blade assembly firmly onto the open end of the filled jar. Ensure it is tightly sealed to prevent leaks.
  3. Place on Motor Base: Invert the assembled jar and blade, and place it onto the motor base. Align the tabs on the blade assembly with the slots on the motor base. Twist the jar clockwise until it locks securely into place. The 'READY' indicator light on the base will illuminate when properly seated.
  4. Start Blending: Plug the blender into a 120V AC power outlet. Pull the retro-style chrome lever down to start blending. The 'START-UP' indicator light will illuminate. Hold the lever down for continuous blending.
  5. Stop Blending: Release the lever to stop blending. For optimal results with tougher ingredients, use short pulses by pulling and releasing the lever repeatedly.
  6. Remove Jar: Once blending is complete, release the lever, unplug the blender, and twist the jar counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it from the motor base.
  7. Enjoy: Unscrew the blade assembly from the jar. You can then attach one of the included lids to the jar for immediate consumption or storage.

  • Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  • Jars, Lids, and Blade Assembly: These components are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be hand-washed in warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades carefully due to their sharpness. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Storage: Store the blender in a dry place. You can store the jars with the lids attached to keep them clean.
