3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps for initial setup and activation of your GlocalMe U3 device:
- Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge your GlocalMe U3 using the provided charging cable. The device has a 3000mAh battery.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button (located on the side/top) until the indicator lights illuminate.
- Download GlocalMe App: Scan the QR code on the device or search for 'GlocalMe' in your mobile app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) and download the application.
- Register/Login: Open the GlocalMe App and register a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Link Device: In the GlocalMe App, navigate to 'My Device' and scan the QR code located on the back of your U3 device to link it to your account.
- Activate Data Plan: Choose and activate a data plan that suits your needs directly within the GlocalMe App. Your device comes with 1.1GB of global data valid for 90 days to get you started.
- Connect to WiFi: On your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select the Wi-Fi name (SSID) displayed on the back of your U3 device and enter the password.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn on.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.
4.2 Connecting Devices
The GlocalMe U3 can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously. Simply enable Wi-Fi on your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop, etc.), select the U3's network name, and enter the password found on the device's label.

4.3 Data Plans and Usage
Manage your data plans and monitor usage through the GlocalMe App. The device supports flexible pay-as-you-go data plans, including daily, monthly, regional, or GB-based options. It also supports the use of a physical SIM card for additional flexibility.

5. Maintenance
- Charging: Use only the provided charging cable and a compatible power adapter. Avoid overcharging.
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure it is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve battery health.
- Software Updates: Periodically check the GlocalMe App for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection:
- Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged.
- Check your data plan status in the GlocalMe App. Ensure you have active data.
- Restart the GlocalMe U3 device.
- Verify that your connected device's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to the correct U3 network.
- In some cases, manual APN settings might be required. Refer to the GlocalMe App or customer support for specific APN configurations if automatic connection fails.
- Slow Connection Speed:
- Move to an area with better network coverage.
- Reduce the number of connected devices.
- Check for any data throttling if you are on an unlimited plan after exceeding a certain usage threshold.
- Device Not Turning On:
- Ensure the device is sufficiently charged. Connect it to a power source for at least 30 minutes.
- Try a different charging cable and adapter.
