Figure 4.2: Music Sync Mode in Action. This image depicts a lively scene where LED strip lights are dynamically changing colors in response to music, creating an immersive atmosphere.
4.4 Timer Setting Mode
You can set custom schedules for your LED lights to turn on or off automatically. This is useful for creating wake-up or bedtime routines, or for automating lighting for events.

Figure 4.3: Timer Setting Mode. This image illustrates the timer functionality, showing how lights can be scheduled to turn off for sleep (e.g., PM 10:30) and turn on for wake-up (e.g., AM 6:30).
5. Compatibility
The RGBZONE Bluetooth RGB LED Controller is designed to work with standard 4-pin RGB LED light strips that are 8mm or 10mm wide. It supports 5V, 12V, and 24V LED strips.
Important: This controller is NOT suitable for RGBIC (individually addressable) LED strips, 2-pin, 3-pin, or 5-pin LED strips.

Figure 5.1: LED Strip Compatibility. This diagram clearly indicates which types of LED strips are compatible (4-pin, 8mm/10mm wide) and which are not suitable (RGBIC, 2-pin, 3-pin, 5-pin).
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your RGBZONE LED Controller, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the controller and remote. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Environment: Keep the controller in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and excessive humidity. This product is not water resistant.
- Power Supply: Always use a power supply that matches the voltage requirements of your LED strips and the controller (5V/12V/24V DC).
- Remote Battery: If the IR remote's performance degrades, replace the CR2 battery. Ensure the clear plastic tab is removed from the battery compartment before first use.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your RGBZONE LED Controller, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| LED lights do not turn on. | No power, incorrect voltage, loose connections, incompatible LED strip. | Check power adapter connection and ensure it's plugged in. Verify power adapter voltage matches LED strip and controller. Ensure all connectors are securely attached. Confirm LED strip is 4-pin RGB and compatible. |
| IR Remote not working. | Remote not pointed at IR receiver, battery low/dead, obstruction. | Point the remote directly at the IR receiver on the controller. Ensure there are no obstructions. Replace the CR2 battery if necessary. Check if the clear plastic tab has been removed from the battery compartment. |
| Bluetooth connection issues. | Bluetooth off, app not open, controller out of range, interference. | Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Open the "duoCo Strip" app. Move closer to the controller. Restart the app and/or power cycle the controller. |
| Lights flicker or display incorrect colors. | Loose connection, insufficient power, faulty LED strip. | Check all connections for tightness. Ensure your power supply provides enough current for the length of your LED strip. Test with a different LED strip if possible. |
