Setup

1. Battery Installation

The D-318BT uses a BL-5C rechargeable battery.

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
2. Slide or lift the cover to open the compartment.
3. Insert the BL-5C battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Charging the Battery

Operating Instructions

1. FM Radio Mode

1. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
2. Press the "MODE" button (if available, or the device may default to FM) until "FM" is displayed.
3. Automatic Scan: Press and hold the "PLAY/PAUSE" or "SCAN" button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.

2. MP3 Player Mode (TF/SD Card)

1. Insert a TF/SD card (up to 32GB, FAT32 format recommended) with MP3 audio files into the designated slot.
2. The device should automatically switch to MP3 mode, or you may need to press the "MODE" button.
3. Use the "PLAY/PAUSE" button to start or pause playback.
4. Use the "PREV/NEXT" buttons to skip tracks.
5. Use the number buttons (0-9) to directly select a track by its number (if supported).

3. Bluetooth Speaker Mode

1. Press the "MODE" button until "BT" or "Bluetooth" is displayed. The device will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or sound.
2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
3. Select "XHDATA D-318BT" from the list.
4. Once paired, the device will confirm with a sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will become solid.

4. Recording Feature

The D-318BT allows recording of FM radio broadcasts or external audio via AUX input.

1. Ensure a TF/SD card is inserted for saving recordings.
2. Recording FM Radio: Tune to the desired FM station. Press the "REC" button to start recording. Press "REC" again to stop.
3. Recording via AUX Input: Connect an external audio source (e.g., another radio, microphone) to the D-318BT's AUX input using the supplied AUX cable. Press the "REC" button to start recording. Press "REC" again to stop.
4. Recordings are saved as MP3 files on the TF/SD card.

5. A-B Repeat Function

This feature is useful for repeating a specific segment of an audio file (e.g., for language learning).

1. While playing an MP3 file, press the "A/B" button at the desired starting point (A).
2. Press the "A/B" button again at the desired ending point (B).
3. The segment between A and B will repeat continuously.
4. Press the "A/B" button a third time to cancel the repeat function.

6. AUX Input Mode

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, computer, CD player) to the D-318BT's AUX input port using the supplied AUX cable.
2. The device should automatically switch to AUX mode, or you may need to press the "MODE" button until "AUX" is displayed.
3. Audio from the connected device will now play through the D-318BT's speaker.
