3. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your dash cam for optimal performance:
- Clean Windshield: Ensure the area on your windshield where the dash cam will be mounted is clean and dry.
- Attach Car Mount: Securely attach the car mount to the designated area on your windshield, typically behind the rearview mirror, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
- Insert SD Card: If not already inserted, gently push the provided 32GB SD card into the dash cam's SD card slot until it clicks into place.
- Connect Power: Use the charging cable and car charger to connect the dash cam to your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter). Route the cable neatly using the provided cable clips and installation tool to avoid interference with driving.
- Adjust Camera Angle: Power on the dash cam and adjust the lens angles for both front and interior cameras to ensure optimal recording coverage.

4. Operating Instructions
The Nexar Pro operates primarily through the Nexar App. A 1-year subscription is included with your purchase.
4.1 Nexar App Usage
- Download App: Download the official Nexar App from your smartphone's app store.
- Pair Device: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your dash cam with your smartphone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Access Recordings: View live footage, saved clips, and incident recordings directly through the app.
- Manage Settings: Adjust various dash cam settings, including recording resolution, parking mode sensitivity, and more, directly from the app.

4.2 Loop Recording
The dash cam continuously records video. When the SD card is full, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings. Important incidents and manually saved clips are protected from being overwritten.
4.3 G-Sensor & Incident Detection
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid deceleration. In such events, the dash cam automatically saves and locks the footage, preventing it from being overwritten. This ensures critical evidence is preserved.
