1. Introduction

The Snow Peak Home & Camp Burner (GS-600SL) is a versatile and compact gas stove designed for both indoor and outdoor cooking. 2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, explosion, property damage, personal injury, or death.

  • Use only A4 CB Butane fuel canisters.
  • Operate in a well-ventilated area. Do not use indoors without proper ventilation.
  • Keep away from flammable materials.
  • Ensure the burner is on a stable, level surface before use.
  • Do not leave the operating burner unattended.
  • Allow the burner to cool completely before handling or storing.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Inspect the burner and fuel canister for damage before each use.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present and undamaged. The package should include the Home & Camp Burner (GS-600SL).

3.2 Assembling the Burner

  1. Place the burner on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Locate the lock pin on the underside of the main body. Press the lock pin and rotate the burner head assembly outwards until it locks into the open position.
  3. Extend the pot supports from the burner head. Ensure all four supports are fully extended and stable.

3.3 Connecting the Fuel Canister

  1. Ensure the burner's control knob is in the "OFF" position.
  2. Open the fuel canister compartment cover.
  3. Align the nozzle of the A4 CB Butane fuel canister with the burner's gas inlet.
  4. Push the canister firmly into place until it clicks, ensuring a secure connection.
  5. Close the fuel canister compartment cover.

4. Operation

4.1 Igniting the Burner

  1. With the fuel canister securely connected, slowly turn the control knob counter-clockwise to release a small amount of gas.
  2. Press the auto-ignitor button firmly until the burner ignites.
  3. If the burner does not ignite after a few attempts, turn the control knob to "OFF", wait a few seconds, and repeat the process.

4.2 Adjusting the Flame

Once ignited, rotate the control knob to adjust the flame intensity. Turn clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it. The burner is designed to provide stable heat output for various cooking needs.

4.3 Turning Off the Burner

To turn off the burner, rotate the control knob fully clockwise until the flame extinguishes. Ensure the gas supply is completely shut off.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Allow the burner to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the burner body and pot supports with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Ensure all parts are dry before storing.

5.2 Storage

  1. Disconnect the fuel canister and store it separately in a cool, dry place.
  2. Press the lock pin and fold the pot supports and burner head back into the compact storage position.
  3. Ensure the burner is clean and dry before storing in its original packaging or a protective case.

6. Troubleshooting
