3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Device
Before initial use, ensure the device is fully charged. If the LED indicator blinks red, the battery level is low and requires charging. Use a mobile phone charger (5V/1A or higher, up to 2A for faster charging) with the provided USB 3.0 cable. A USB charger is not included in the package.
3.2 Initial Wired Connection (USB Mode)
- Connect the SSK SSM-F200 to your computer using the supplied USB 3.0 cable.
- The device will be recognized as an external drive.
- The default format is EXFAT, which is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS without requiring reformatting.
3.3 Initial Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi Hotspot Mode)
- Power on the SSK SSM-F200.
- Download and install the SSKCloud App on your mobile device (iOS/Android) or the corresponding software on your computer (Windows/Mac OS).
- On your device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and connect to the SSK SSM-F200's Wi-Fi hotspot. The network name (SSID) and password can typically be found on a label on the device or in the quick start guide.
- Open the SSKCloud App/Software to access and manage your files.
3.4 Connecting to an Existing Wi-Fi Network (Internet Mode)
To enable remote access and allow your SSK SSM-F200 to connect to the internet, you can bridge it to an existing Wi-Fi network:
- Ensure your device is connected to the SSK SSM-F200's Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Open the SSKCloud App/Software.
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings within the app/software.
- Scan for available Wi-Fi networks and select your desired home or office network.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted.
- The SSK SSM-F200 will attempt to connect to the selected network. Once connected, your device can access the SSK drive through your main Wi-Fi network, and remote access features will be enabled.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Wireless Data Access
Access your stored data wirelessly by connecting your device to the SSK SSM-F200's Wi-Fi hotspot or by connecting both the SSK drive and your device to the same local Wi-Fi network.

4.2 Remote Access
The SSK SSM-F200 supports point-to-point remote access via a unique User ID (UID). For this feature to function, the SSK drive must be connected to the internet, and its internal UID number must be installed and configured. The SSKCloud App/Software facilitates smart upload and download functions. Utilize the one-click backup feature to easily back up photos, videos, and folders from your mobile phones, tablets, and PCs to the SSK SSM-F200.

4.4 Sharing and Media Streaming
The device supports multi-user sharing, allowing several people to access content simultaneously. With Samba and DLNA protocol support, you can share data from the SSKCloud with smart TVs, laptops, and mobile phones connected to the same local network. The device supports up to 10 simultaneous connections, with capabilities for 4 routes of 720P simulcast or 2 routes of 1080P video streaming.
4.5 Storage Management
The SSKCloud App/Software allows you to divide the drive into Private and Public areas. This feature helps in better organizing and securing sensitive information.

- Mac OS Time Machine Backup Issues: Time Machine backup functionality is only supported when the SSK drive is connected via USB mode, not wirelessly. However, the SSKCloud Software supports real-time synchronous updates and backups of designated folders on both Mac and Windows computers.
- Slow Data Transfer: Wireless transfer speeds can be affected by network congestion, distance from the device, and obstacles. For faster transfers, use the USB 3.0 wired connection.
- App Permissions: When installing the SSKCloud App, carefully review and grant only necessary permissions to ensure proper functionality while maintaining privacy.
