Setup
Powering the Fan
Your Treva 10-Inch Portable Fan can be powered by either D-cell batteries or the included AC adapter.
Battery Installation (6-D cell batteries, not included)
- Position the fan face down on a flat, stable surface.
- Locate the battery compartment door on the back of the fan.
- Slide out the battery door to open the compartment.
- Insert six (6) D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as marked inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery door by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

AC Adapter Connection
- Locate the AC adapter port on the side of the fan.
- Insert the plug of the supplied AC adapter into the fan's port.
- Plug the other end of the AC adapter into a standard 120-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz wall outlet.
- Note: Inserting the AC adapter plug will automatically disconnect any installed batteries from the circuit, allowing the fan to run on AC power.

Operating Instructions
The fan features a simple two-speed operation for customized airflow.
- Ensure the fan is powered either by correctly installed batteries or by the AC adapter plugged into an outlet.
- Locate the slide switch on the side of the fan.
- Slide the switch to the 'LOW' position for a gentle breeze.
- Slide the switch to the 'HIGH' position for maximum air circulation.
- To turn off the fan, slide the switch to the 'OFF' (middle) position.

Maintenance

- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- To clean the fan blades, use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust and debris from the grilles.
- Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the motor housing.
- Store the fan in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
