  1. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Turn the control dial to your desired setting:
    • LOW: For slow, gentle cooking over a longer period (typically 6-8 hours). Ideal for tenderizing meats and developing rich flavors.
    • HIGH: For faster cooking (typically 3-4 hours). Use when you have less time or for recipes that require a higher initial heat.
    • KEEP WARM: After cooking is complete, this setting maintains the food at a safe serving temperature without further cooking. Do not use this setting for cooking.
  3. Allow the food to cook for the recommended time according to your recipe. Avoid lifting the lid frequently, as this releases heat and extends cooking time.
  4. Once cooking is complete, turn the control dial to "OFF" and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
