1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the AUCMA 5.5L XXL Digital Air Fryer. This appliance uses rapid hot air circulation technology to cook your favorite foods with little to no oil, resulting in delicious and healthier meals. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before use.
  • Do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Ensure the frying basket is properly inserted before operating.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • The surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

3. Initial Setup

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the appliance.
  2. Clean: Wash the frying basket and crisper plate thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space on the back and sides, and 10 cm (4 inches) of free space above the appliance.
  4. First Use: It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 200°C (390°F) before first use to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor may be present, which is normal and will dissipate.

4. Operating Instructions

Using the Air Fryer

  1. Prepare Food: Place the crisper plate into the frying basket. Place the ingredients into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying basket back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
  3. Power On: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet. The display will light up.
  4. Select Cooking Method:
    • Pre-set Programs: Touch the desired food icon (e.g., French Fries, Chicken Wing) on the digital panel. The air fryer will automatically set the optimal time and temperature for that food.
    • Manual Setting: Use the temperature and time control buttons to manually adjust the cooking temperature (up to 200°C / 390°F) and time (up to 60 minutes).
  5. Start Cooking: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cooking process.
  6. Shake Basket (Optional): For some foods, it is recommended to shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. Pull out the basket, shake it gently, and then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  7. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a serving dish.

Cooking Tips

  • Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger ingredients.
  • A small amount of oil can be added to fresh potatoes for a crispier result.
  • Snacks that can be prepared in an oven can also be prepared in the air fryer.
  • Use the air fryer to reheat food.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the appliance after every use.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Basket and Plate: The frying basket and crisper plate have a non-stick coating and are dishwasher safe. You can also wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the inside of the appliance with a hot water and non-abrasive sponge.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  5. Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the appliance in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting
