4. Installation Guide
4.1 Wiring Diagram
Follow the wiring diagram carefully to connect the camera to your vehicle's power supply and monitor. Ensure all connections are secure.

Image: Detailed wiring diagram showing connections for the camera, video extension cable, and power cable to a monitor. Red wire connects to the reversing light, black wire to ground.
Connection Steps:
- Connect the camera's video output to the video extension cable.
- Connect the video extension cable to your monitor's video input.
- Connect the camera's power cable (red wire to reversing light, black wire to ground).
- For standalone type monitors, the red wire from the video extension cable does not need to be connected. For double DIN head units, connect this red wire to the 'Reverse Trigger Wire' of the head unit.
4.2 Mounting Position
The ZL-115S is a bolt-type camera. It is typically mounted near the license plate or on the rear bumper. Ensure the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the rear of the vehicle.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On
The camera automatically activates when the vehicle is put into reverse gear, provided it is correctly wired to the reversing light circuit.
5.2 Understanding the Display
The camera provides a wide-angle view of the area behind your vehicle. If enabled, parking guidelines will appear on the screen to assist with parking maneuvers.

5.3 Adjusting Settings (Cutting Wires)
The ZL-115S camera offers adjustable settings by cutting specific wires. Perform these adjustments before final installation if possible, or ensure easy access to the wires.
- Blue Wire (Image Inversion): The camera comes with a default image orientation. If you need to invert the image (e.g., for front camera use or specific monitor setups), cut the blue wire. Turn off all power, cut the blue wire, wait 3 seconds, then turn on power. The image will be inverted.
- White Wire (Parking Guidelines): The camera ships without parking guidelines. To enable them, cut the white wire. Turn off all power, cut the white wire, wait 3 seconds, then turn on power. The parking guidelines will appear. To disable them, cut the white wire again (if it was previously cut and reconnected, or if it was never cut and you want to ensure they are off).
- Purple Wire (PAL/NTSC Switch): The camera is NTSC by default. If your monitor only supports PAL, cut the purple wire to switch to PAL. Turn off all power, cut the purple wire, wait 3 seconds, then turn on power. The video system will change.

Image: Diagram illustrating the NTSC TV system compatibility. The ZL-115S camera is NTSC. If your screen only supports PAL, it will not work unless the purple wire is cut to switch the system.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure a clear view. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Checking Connections: Periodically inspect all wiring connections for corrosion or looseness, especially after driving through harsh conditions.
- Waterproof Integrity: While the camera is IP68 rated, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the camera during car washes.
