Setup

Before First Use

Placement

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum mark or above the maximum (3 Liter) mark.
  3. Close the lid securely.
  4. Place the kettle back onto its power base.

Boiling Water

  1. Plug the power base into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Press the power button (usually indicated by an 'On/Off' symbol or 'Start'). The digital display will illuminate.
  3. The kettle will begin heating the water. The digital display may show the current water temperature or a heating indicator.
  4. Once the water reaches boiling point, the kettle will automatically switch off.
  5. Carefully pour the hot water.

Using the Digital Controls and Timer

The digital control panel allows for precise temperature selection and timer settings.

  • Temperature Selection: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired water temperature. The kettle will heat water to this temperature and then maintain it (if a keep-warm function is available).

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

Exterior Cleaning

  1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.

Interior Cleaning (Descaling)

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale your kettle regularly to maintain efficiency.

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
  2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
  3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
