  • Kettle Body: Main water reservoir.

Setup

Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the kettle and power base.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or power base in water.
  3. Fill the kettle with clean water to the maximum fill line.
  4. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.

Placement

  • Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure the kettle is placed away from the edge of the counter to prevent accidental tipping.
  • Keep the kettle away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

  1. Remove the kettle from its power base.
  2. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the minimum mark or above the maximum (3 Liter) mark.
  3. Close the lid securely.
  4. Place the kettle back onto its power base.

Boiling Water

  1. Plug the power base into a suitable electrical outlet.
  2. Press the power button (usually indicated by an 'On/Off' symbol or 'Start'). The digital display will illuminate.
  3. The kettle will begin heating the water. The digital display may show the current water temperature or a heating indicator.
  4. Once the water reaches boiling point, the kettle will automatically switch off.
  5. Carefully pour the hot water.

Using the Digital Controls and Timer

The digital control panel allows for precise temperature selection and timer settings.

  • Temperature Selection: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired water temperature. The kettle will heat water to this temperature and then maintain it (if a keep-warm function is available).
  • Timer Function: Press the 'Timer' button to activate the timer. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set a delay for when you want the kettle to start heating. Confirm the setting by pressing the 'Timer' button again or 'Start'.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

Exterior Cleaning

  1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.

Interior Cleaning (Descaling)

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale your kettle regularly to maintain efficiency.

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
  2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
  3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.

Troubleshooting
