Inserting the SIM Card and Battery
- Carefully remove the back cover of the device.
- Locate the SIM card slot. This device uses a MicroSIM card. If you have a NanoSIM, you may need an adapter. Ensure the SIM card is inserted correctly according to the diagram near the slot.
- Insert the provided 1500 mAh rechargeable battery into its compartment.
- Replace the back cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Charging the Device
For optimal performance, fully charge the device before first use.
- Connect the USB Charging Cable to the device's USB port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The battery indicator light will show charging status.
Initial Power On and Configuration

- Wait for the device to boot up and establish a network connection. The signal indicator light will turn green when a connection is established.
- To connect to the Wi-Fi network, find the default Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. These are typically printed on a sticker located under the battery. A QR code for quick connection might also be present, but some cameras may struggle to read it due to its small size.
- For security, it is highly recommended to change the default Wi-Fi password and the device's administration password. You can do this by accessing the device's web management interface via a connected browser (refer to the Quick Start Guide for the default IP address).

To connect your devices (smartphones, laptops, tablets, etc.) to the Huawei Mobile WiFi:

- Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
