1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Initial Setup

4. Operating Instructions

The RAF R.172 operates automatically with push-button controls for ease of use.

General Operation:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place your food and liquids into the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Close Lid: Place the lid on the main unit, aligning the arrow on the lid with the arrow on the main unit handle. Rotate the lid clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. Set Pressure Release Valve: Ensure the pressure release valve is in the 'Sealing' position (if applicable to your model).
  4. Plug In: Connect the power cord to the appliance and then to a grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Select Program: Use the push-button controls to select your desired cooking program (e.g., Rice, Soup, Meat, etc.). The appliance will automatically set the appropriate pressure and cooking time.
  6. Start Cooking: The appliance will begin preheating and then cooking. A timer will display the remaining cooking time once pressure is reached.

  8. Open Lid: Once all pressure is released and the float valve has dropped, rotate the lid counter-clockwise to open.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
