3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Connecting to Camera
- Identify the correct cable adapter for your specific camera model from the included assortment. Refer to your camera's manual for the correct port type (e.g., 2.5mm, 3-pin, 10-pin, DC-2, Multi-Terminal, UC1).
- Connect one end of the chosen cable adapter to the remote control's input port.
- Connect the other end of the cable adapter to the corresponding remote control port on your camera. This port is typically labeled "REMOTE," "SHUTTER," or has a specific symbol.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 LCD Display Overview
The LCD display shows the current settings for delay, long exposure, interval, and number of shots. It also indicates battery status and timer activation.

4.2 Button Functions
- SET Button: Used to enter setting mode and confirm selections.
- Arrow Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Used to navigate through settings and adjust values.
- TIMER START/STOP Button: Initiates or stops the timer sequence.
- LOCK Button (with backlight icon): Activates or deactivates the LCD backlight.
- Shutter Release Button: A two-stage button for manual focus and shutter release. Press halfway to focus, press fully to take a picture. Slide up to lock for bulb mode.
4.3 Basic Shutter Release
- Ensure the remote is connected to your camera.
- Press the Shutter Release Button halfway down to activate autofocus (if your camera supports it).
- Press the Shutter Release Button fully down to take a picture.
- For Bulb mode (long exposure), slide the Shutter Release Button upwards to lock it in the fully pressed position. Slide it back down to end the exposure.
4.4 Timer Functions
The remote allows for precise control over various timer settings:
- Setting Parameters:
- Press the SET button to enter the setting mode. The first parameter (e.g., Delay) will blink.
- Use the Left/Right Arrow buttons to select the parameter you wish to adjust (DELAY, LONG, INTVL, N).
- Use the Up/Down Arrow buttons to adjust the value of the selected parameter. Values can be set from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
- Press SET again to confirm the value and move to the next parameter, or press TIMER START/STOP to exit setting mode.
- DELAY (Self-Timer): Sets the delay before the first shot is taken.
- Set the desired delay time.
- Press TIMER START/STOP to begin the countdown.
- LONG (Exposure Time): Sets the duration of the shutter opening for each shot. This is used in conjunction with your camera's Bulb mode.
- Set your camera to Bulb mode.
- Set the desired exposure time on the remote.
- Press TIMER START/STOP to initiate the timed exposure.
- INTVL (Interval): Sets the time between consecutive shots in a sequence.
- Set the desired interval time.
- This time includes the exposure time. Ensure INTVL is greater than or equal to LONG.
- N (Number of Shots): Sets the total number of photos to be taken in a sequence.
- Set the desired number of shots (1 to 399).
- Set to "--" for unlimited shots.
- Starting the Timer Sequence:
- After setting all desired parameters (DELAY, LONG, INTVL, N), press the TIMER START/STOP button to begin the sequence.
- The LCD will display the remaining time for each stage of the sequence.
- To stop the sequence at any time, press the TIMER START/STOP button again.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the device.
