Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for a secure and efficient installation. It is recommended to have at least two people for installation.
1. Prepare the Wall and Mount
- Identify Wall Type: Determine if your wall is wood stud, concrete, or brick. DO NOT MOUNT ON DRYWALL ALONE.
- Locate Studs (for wood stud walls): Use a stud finder to locate the center of your wood studs. Mark the drilling locations.
- Mark Drilling Holes: Position the wall plate of the mount against the wall at your desired height and use a pencil to mark the drilling points. Ensure it is level using the included bubble level.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on your wall type and the screws used.

4. Hang TV on Wall Mount

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Checks: Every 6-12 months, check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight and secure. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Lubrication: If the articulating arms become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the pivot points.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- TV is not level: Use the ±3° rotation adjustment feature to fine-tune the level of your TV. Ensure all mounting screws are tightened evenly.
- Mount feels unstable: Double-check that the wall plate is securely fastened to the wall studs or appropriate anchors. Ensure the TV is properly hooked onto the mount and all safety screws are tightened. Verify that the TV's weight does not exceed the mount's capacity.
- Difficulty adjusting the mount: Check for any tightened bolts that might be restricting movement. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the articulating joints if they are stiff.
- Missing parts: Refer to the "Package Contents" section. If any parts are missing, contact BONTEC customer support immediately.
