This fire pit is designed for use with either Liquid Propane (LP) gas or Natural Gas (NG). Conversion to Natural Gas must be performed by a Certified Gas Technician. An external gas line is required for connection to a natural gas source.

Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Placement: Position the fire pit on a level, non-combustible surface outdoors, away from any flammable materials or structures. Ensure adequate clearance as specified in the full safety manual.
- Lava Rock Placement: Distribute the provided lava rock evenly over the burner pan, ensuring not to block the ignition electrode or burner holes.

- LP Gas Connection (Propane):
- Place the LP tank on the included tank seat.
- Connect the 8-inch LP hose and regulator to the LP tank valve. Hand-tighten securely.
- Ensure all connections are tight before proceeding.
- Natural Gas Conversion (Optional):
- This conversion MUST be performed by a certified gas technician.
- The included Natural Gas conversion kit contains the necessary components.
- An external gas line is required for connection to a natural gas source.

- Battery Installation: Install one AAA battery (not included) into the electronic ignition module.

Operating Instructions
- Before Lighting: Ensure the gas supply valve is open (for LP tank) or the main gas line is on (for NG).
- Lighting the Fire Pit:
- Locate the control knob on the side of the fire pit.
- Push and hold the control knob in, then turn it counter-clockwise to the "LOW" position.
- While holding the knob in, press the electronic igniter button repeatedly until the burner ignites. You should hear a clicking sound and see the flame.
- Once ignited, continue to hold the control knob in for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up and engage.
- Release the control knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the lighting process.
- Adjusting the Flame: Once lit, turn the control knob to adjust the flame height from "LOW" to "HIGH" as desired.
- Shutting Down:
- Turn the control knob clockwise to the "OFF" position.
- Close the gas supply valve on the LP tank or turn off the main gas line for NG.
- Allow the fire pit to cool completely before covering or moving.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Lava Rock: Periodically inspect lava rock for debris or blockages. Replace if significantly deteriorated.
- Protective Cover: Use the included protective cover when the fire pit is not in use to shield it from weather elements.
- Gas Connections: Regularly check all gas connections and hoses for leaks or damage. Perform a leak test with soapy water if a gas odor is detected.
- Burner: Keep the burner ports clear of insects and debris.
