4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the small end of the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
- Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off once fully charged.
- Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge.
4.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the bottom or side) for approximately 3 seconds. A power-on tone will sound, and the LED indicator will flash.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds. A power-off tone will sound, and the LED indicator will turn off.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 1 meter (3 feet) of your Bluetooth-enabled device.
- The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode, indicated by a rapidly flashing blue LED light.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available devices. Select "EWA A104" from the list.
- Once paired, the LED indicator on the speaker will turn solid blue, and a confirmation tone will sound.
- If pairing fails, power off the speaker and your device, then repeat the steps.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Playing Audio
- After successful Bluetooth pairing, open your preferred music application on your connected device.
- Start playing audio. The sound will be transmitted wirelessly to the EWA A104 speaker.
5.2 Volume Control
Volume is primarily controlled via your connected Bluetooth device. Adjust the volume on your smartphone or tablet to increase or decrease the speaker's output.
5.3 Answering Calls (If Applicable)
Some EWA A104 models may support hands-free calling. If your model includes a microphone:
- To Answer a Call: Briefly press the multi-function button (often the power button) when a call comes in.
- To End a Call: Briefly press the multi-function button again.
- To Reject a Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 2 seconds.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in frequent use.
- Water Resistance: The EWA A104 is indicated as waterproof. However, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to strong jets of water for prolonged periods. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Speaker Does Not Power On
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
7.2 Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device
- Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing blue LED).
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within 1 meter (3 feet) of the speaker.
- Forget "EWA A104" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
- Restart both the speaker and your Bluetooth device.
- Ensure no other Bluetooth devices are actively connected to the speaker.
7.3 No Sound or Low Volume
