- Verify Rough-in: Confirm your bathroom's rough-in measurement is 12 inches (305mm) from the finished wall to the center of the floor drain.
- Prepare Flange: Clean the closet flange and install new closet bolts.
- Install Wax Ring: Place a new wax ring with a plastic horn onto the closet flange.
- Position Bowl: Carefully lower the toilet bowl onto the closet bolts, ensuring the wax ring creates a seal. Press down firmly and evenly.
- Secure Bowl: Install washers and nuts onto the closet bolts. Tighten nuts alternately until the bowl is secure, but do not overtighten to avoid cracking the ceramic. Cover bolts with provided caps.
- Connect Tank to Bowl: Utilize the Speed Connect® tank/bowl coupling system to attach the tank to the bowl. Follow the specific instructions provided with the toilet for this system to ensure a watertight seal.
- Connect Water Supply: Attach the water supply line to the toilet's fill valve. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a final quarter-turn. Do not overtighten.
- Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and allow the tank to fill. Inspect all connections for leaks. Flush the toilet several times to ensure proper operation and check for any leaks during flushing.

- Flushing: To flush, depress the chrome metal trip lever located on the front or side of the tank. The pressure-assisted system will activate, providing a strong siphon jet flush action.
