5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Automatic: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.
- Manual: Press and hold the power button to manually turn the device on or off.
5.2 Recording Modes
- Normal Recording: The dash cam continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes) and saves them to the MicroSD card.
- Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): In the event of a sudden impact or collision, the built-in G-Sensor will automatically detect the event and lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording.
- Parking Mode Recording: When enabled, the dash cam will automatically start recording if motion is detected or an impact occurs while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires a continuous power supply (e.g., hardwiring kit, not included).

6. Function Settings
Access the menu settings on your dash cam to customize the following functions:
- Loop Recording: Sets the duration of video segments (e.g., 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked files will be overwritten.
- G-Sensor: Adjusts the sensitivity of the G-Sensor (Off/Low/Medium/High). A higher sensitivity will trigger emergency recording more easily.
- Parking Protection: Enables or disables the parking monitoring feature. When enabled, the camera will record if an impact is detected while parked.
- Motion Detection: Activates recording when movement is detected in front of the camera while parked.
- Audio Recording: Toggles audio recording on or off.
- Date Stamp: Enables or disables the display of date and time on recorded videos.
- Screen Protection: Sets the time after which the screen will turn off automatically (e.g., 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes) to avoid distraction while driving. Recording continues in the background.
- Auto Shut-off: Configures the time after which the device will automatically power off if no operation is detected (e.g., 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes).
7. Maintenance
- Clean Lenses: Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality.
- Format Memory Card: Format the MicroSD card periodically (e.g., once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure optimal recording performance. Back up any important files before formatting.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures, which can affect battery life and device performance.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates to improve performance and add new features.
