1. Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should be observed, including the following:

Read all instructions before using your BISSELL JetScrub Pet.
Always connect to a properly grounded outlet.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning, maintaining, or servicing the appliance.
Do not immerse. Use only on surfaces moistened by the cleaning process.
Use only BISSELL cleaning products intended for use with this appliance to prevent internal component damage.
Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts of the appliance and its accessories.
Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.) or use in areas where they may be present.
Do not use in an enclosed space where vapors are given off by oil base paint, paint thinner, some moth-proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors.
Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.

3. Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are present and assemble the unit as follows:

3.1 Handle Assembly

Insert the upper handle into the main body of the cleaner until it clicks securely into place.
Wrap the power cord around the cord wraps for organized storage.

3.2 Filling the Clean Water Tank

The clean water tank is located at the back of the machine. It has separate compartments and fill lines for water and cleaning formula.

Remove the clean water tank from the back of the machine by lifting it straight up.
Unscrew the yellow cap at the top of the tank.
