Required Tools: Wrench (size may vary, typically 17mm or 19mm), Allen key (if applicable).

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Identify each component using the package contents list.
  2. Attach Hitch Adapter (if necessary): If your vehicle has a 2-inch hitch receiver, slide the 1.25-inch main tube into the 2-inch adapter. Secure it with the provided bolt and nut. For 1.25-inch receivers, this step is not needed.
  3. Insert into Vehicle Hitch: Slide the main hitch bar assembly into your vehicle's hitch receiver. Align the hitch pin holes and insert the threaded hitch pin. Tighten the anti-wobble bolt securely to minimize movement.
  4. Assemble Vertical Mast: Attach the vertical mast to the horizontal hitch bar using the designated bolts and nuts. Ensure it is oriented correctly and tightened firmly.
  5. Install Wheel Trays: Slide the adjustable wheelbase trays onto the horizontal support arms. These trays can be adjusted along the arms to accommodate different bike wheelbases. Secure them in place.
  6. Attach Padded Frame Hooks: Mount the padded frame hooks onto the vertical mast. These hooks are adjustable and will secure the bike frame.
  7. Final Checks: Before first use, double-check all bolts, nuts, and pins for tightness. Ensure the rack is stable and does not wobble excessively.

5. Operation

5.1 Loading Bicycles

  1. Prepare the Rack: Ensure the rack is unfolded and locked in the upright position. Adjust the wheelbase trays to roughly match your bike's wheelbase.
  2. Place First Bike: Lift the first bicycle onto the rack, aligning its wheels with the trays. The bike closest to the vehicle should be loaded first.
  3. Secure Wheels: Use the integrated wheel straps to firmly secure both wheels to the trays.
  4. Secure Frame: Lower the padded frame hook onto the bicycle's top tube. Adjust the turn-knob arm to ensure a snug fit, preventing vertical movement.
  5. Load Second Bike (if applicable): Repeat the process for the second bicycle, ensuring proper spacing and clearance between bikes and the vehicle.
  6. Apply Safety Strap: Loop the provided safety strap around both bike frames and the vertical mast of the rack, tightening it to prevent any lateral movement during transit.
