Setup
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the scale. Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid surfaces that vibrate or are exposed to drafts, as these can affect accuracy.
- Initial Power On: Press the 'ON/OFF' button to turn on the scale. The display will show '88888' then '0.000g'.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the 'ON/OFF' button.
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an auto shut-off function to conserve battery power after a period of inactivity.
Unit Conversion
The scale supports six different weighing units. To change the unit:
- With the scale on and displaying '0.000g', press the 'MODE' button repeatedly.
- The display will cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), grains (gn), carats (ct), pennyweights (dwt), and troy ounces (ozt). Stop when your desired unit is displayed.

Tare Function
The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.
- Place an empty container (e.g., the powder pan) on the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
- Press the 'TARE' button. The display will reset to '0.000g'.
- Add the items you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show only the net weight of the items.

PCS Counting Function
The PCS (Piece Counting System) function allows you to count multiple small items of uniform weight.
- Turn on the scale and ensure it displays '0.000g'.
- Press and hold the 'PCS' button until 'PCS' appears on the display, followed by a sample quantity (e.g., '25', '50', '75', '100').
- Press the 'MODE' button to select your desired sample quantity (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces).
- Place the exact number of items corresponding to your selected sample quantity onto the weighing platform.
- Press the 'PCS' button again to confirm the sample. The scale is now calibrated for counting.
- You can now add more items, and the display will show the total count of items.
- To exit PCS mode, press the 'MODE' button.
Calibration
Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. Use the included 50g calibration weight.
- Turn on the scale and wait for it to stabilize at '0.000g'.
- Press and hold the 'MODE' button until the display shows 'CAL'.
- Press the 'MODE' button again. The display will flash '50.000g'.
- Carefully place the 50g calibration weight onto the center of the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to show 'PASS' and then return to '50.000g'. This indicates successful calibration.
- Remove the calibration weight. The scale is now ready for use.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
