Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup and component installation:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the case from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Accessing Interior: The tempered glass side panel is secured with a single thumbscrew. Loosen the thumbscrew and gently open the panel to access the interior.
- Motherboard Installation: Install your Mini-ITX, MicroATX, ATX, or EATX motherboard onto the standoffs. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Cable Management: Utilize the patented cable routing kit with pre-installed channels and straps located behind the motherboard tray to organize power supply and data cables. This ensures a clean interior and optimal airflow.
- Drive Installation: Install 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch storage drives into the easy-to-use drive trays.
- Cooling System: The case supports various cooling configurations. Two Aer F120mm fans are included for optimal internal airflow. Removable fan/radiator mounting brackets simplify the installation of either closed-loop or custom-loop water cooling systems. The removable bracket is designed for radiators up to 240mm.
- Front Panel Connections: Connect the front I/O USB Type-C port and other front panel connectors to your motherboard. The H710 features a consolidated front panel connector for ease of installation.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your PC components.
- Dust Filter Cleaning: Periodically remove and clean the dust filters located on the front panel and PSU intake. This prevents dust accumulation and maintains optimal airflow.
- Interior Cleaning: Use compressed air to gently remove dust from internal components. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish or tempered glass.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your NZXT H710 case, consider the following:
- Power On Issues: Ensure all power cables, including the 24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, and GPU power connectors, are securely seated. Verify the front panel power switch cable is correctly connected to the motherboard.
- Poor Airflow/High Temperatures: Check that all case fans are spinning correctly. Ensure dust filters are clean and not obstructed. Verify that there is adequate space around the case for air intake and exhaust.
- Front Panel Port Malfunction: If a USB or audio port on the front panel is not working, check the internal cable connections to the motherboard. Ensure they are fully seated and correctly oriented.
- Tempered Glass Panel: Ensure the tempered glass side panel is properly aligned and the thumbscrew is tightened to prevent accidental detachment.
