Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the TM01 timer.
- Open the battery cover by sliding it down or lifting the latch.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery cover securely.
Note: The timer will automatically power on once batteries are installed. If the display does not light up, check battery polarity or replace with new batteries.
Initial Power On
Upon successful battery installation, the timer will display the current time or default to timer mode. The large LCD display will illuminate, and the backlight will activate briefly.

Setting the Clock
- Press the MODE button to switch to Clock Mode (display will show "CLOCK" or "AM/PM").
- Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds until the hour digits start flashing.
- Use the HR/+ button to adjust the hour.
- Press the MODE button again to move to minutes. Use the MIN/- button to adjust the minutes.
- Press the MODE button one more time to confirm and exit setting mode.
- To toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour format, press the SEC button in Clock Mode (when not in setting mode).

Using the Countdown Timer
- Press the MODE button to switch to Timer Mode (display will show "TIMER").
- Press HR/+ to set hours, MIN/- to set minutes, and SEC to set seconds. Hold the buttons for faster adjustment.
- The timer can be set up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds.
- Press START/STOP to begin the countdown.
- To pause the countdown, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
- When the countdown reaches zero, the alarm will sound.
- To stop the alarm, press any button. The timer will reset to the last set time.
- To clear the set time to zero, press and hold the CLEAR button (located above HR/MIN/SEC buttons).
Using the Stopwatch (Count-Up Timer)
- In Timer Mode, ensure the display shows 00:00:00. If not, press and hold CLEAR.
- Press START/STOP to begin counting up.
- To pause the stopwatch, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
- To reset the stopwatch to zero, press START/STOP to pause it, then press and hold CLEAR.
Adjusting Alarm Volume
- Locate the VOL button on the side of the timer.
- Press the VOL button repeatedly to cycle through the four alarm volume settings: High, Medium, Low, and Silent.
- Select the desired volume level based on your environment.

Using the Backlight
Press the Light Bulb Icon button located at the top of the timer to activate the backlight. The backlight will remain on for approximately 10 seconds, providing visibility in dark conditions.
