1. Product Overview

The NEWDERY 10000mAh External Battery Station is designed to extend the battery life of your Nintendo Switch (6.2" LCD and 7.0" OLED models) and enhance your gaming experience with ergonomic grips, additional storage, and a kickstand.

2. Compatibility

This battery station is compatible with the following Nintendo Switch models:

  • Nintendo Switch 6.2" LCD Model
  • Nintendo Switch 7.0" OLED Model

Note: This product is NOT compatible with the Nintendo Switch Lite.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Attaching the Anti-slip Pads (for 6.2" LCD Switch only)

If you are using the 6.2-inch LCD Nintendo Switch model, it is recommended to attach the provided anti-slip pads for a secure fit. The 7.0-inch OLED Switch does not require these pads.

  1. Locate the two anti-slip pads in the package.
  2. Peel off the white backing from each pad.
  3. Carefully paste each anti-slip pad onto the middle of the inside edge of the battery station, as indicated in the diagram below.

3.2 Inserting Your Nintendo Switch

  1. Ensure your Nintendo Switch console is powered off or in sleep mode.
  2. Align the USB-C port of your Nintendo Switch with the connector inside the battery station.
  3. Gently slide your Switch into the battery station until it is fully seated and the USB-C connector is engaged. Do not force the connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Charging the Nintendo Switch

Once your Nintendo Switch is securely inserted, the battery station can begin charging it.

  • To start charging: Press the power key once. The power indicator lights will illuminate, and the green fast charging indicator light will turn on if fast charging is active.
  • To stop charging: Double-click the power key. All indicator lights will turn off.
  • Switching to slow charging: While in fast charging mode, click the power key once. If no other output occurs within 30 seconds, it will automatically revert to fast charging.

4.2 Recharging the Battery Station

To recharge the NEWDERY External Battery Station:

  1. Connect a USB-C charging cable to the input port on the battery station.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible power adapter (not included).
  3. The power indicator lights will show the charging status. The battery station supports PD & QC 3.0 fast charging, allowing it to be fully recharged in approximately 3.6 hours.

4.3 Charging Other Devices (USB-A Output)

The battery station features a USB-A output port (5V/1A) that allows you to charge other portable devices, such as smartphones or tablets, simultaneously with your Nintendo Switch.

  1. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the top of the battery station.
  2. Ensure the battery station is powered on (press the power key once).

4.4 Indicator Lights

The battery station features intelligent indicator lights to display power level and charging status.

  • Power Indicator Lights (4 blue LEDs): Indicate the remaining battery capacity of the external battery station.
  • Fast Charging Indicator Light (1 green LED): Illuminates when fast charging (PD & QC 3.0) is active.

4.5 Adjustable Kickstand

The integrated foldable kickstand provides multiple viewing angles for comfortable tabletop gaming. Simply pull out the kickstand from the back of the battery station to deploy it.

4.6 Game Card Storage

The battery station includes two built-in game card slots, conveniently located behind the kickstand, allowing you to carry your favorite games with you.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the battery station with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.
  • Ensure all ports are free of dust and debris. Use a soft brush or compressed air if necessary.

6.2 Storage

  • Store the battery station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50-75% capacity to prolong its lifespan. Recharge every 3-6 months.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Device Not Charging

  • Check Connection: Ensure the Nintendo Switch is fully and correctly inserted into the battery station, and the USB-C connector is engaged.
  • Power On: Press the power key once to activate charging.
  • Battery Level: Check the battery station's indicator lights to ensure it has sufficient charge.
  • Cable/Adapter: If recharging the battery station, ensure the USB-C cable and power adapter are functional and correctly connected.

7.2 Slow Charging

  • Fast Charging Mode: Ensure the green fast charging indicator light is on. If not, press the power key once to attempt to re-enable fast charging.
  • Power Adapter: When recharging the battery station, use a PD or QC 3.0 compatible power adapter for optimal charging speed.

7.3 Indicator Lights Not Working

  • Power Cycle: Try pressing the power key once to check the battery level, or double-click to turn off and then press once again to turn on.
  • Recharge: If the battery station is completely depleted, the lights may not immediately respond. Connect it to a power source for a few minutes.

7.4 Overheating

  • The battery station has built-in overheating protection. If it becomes excessively hot, it may temporarily stop charging.
  • Remove the Switch from the case and allow both devices to cool down in a well-ventilated area.
  • Ensure the ventilation ports on the battery station are not obstructed.
