Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Brio water dispenser.

  • Empty Bottle Alert: The dispenser features smart technology that illuminates an LED indicator when the water bottle is empty, signaling it's time for a replacement.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit regularly with a soft, damp cloth to keep it clean and free of dust or spills.
  • Drip Tray: Periodically remove and empty the drip tray located below the spouts. Clean it with mild soap and water.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Brio water dispenser, try the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Cold Water / Water is Warm: If the cold water is not dispensing at the expected temperature, try unplugging the unit for a few hours (e.g., overnight) and then plugging it back in. This can often reset the cooling system.
  • Unit is Noisy: Some operational noise is normal as the compressor and pump work. If the noise is excessive or unusual, ensure the unit is on a level surface and not touching any walls or furniture that could amplify vibrations.
  • Red 'Empty' Light Stays On: If the empty bottle indicator remains red after replacing the bottle, ensure the pump tube is fully inserted into the new bottle and the bottle is correctly seated in the cabinet. Sometimes, quickly opening and closing the cabinet door after replacing the bottle can help reset the sensor.
  • Door/Sensor Issues: In rare cases, physical damage to the door or internal sensors can prevent proper operation. If the door does not close securely or the empty bottle sensor is physically damaged, contact customer support for assistance.
