Setup: Setting Your Combination
The default combination for your new lock is 0-0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personalized 4-digit combination:
- Ensure the lock is currently set to the default combination (0-0-0-0) or your previously set combination.
- Pull up the shackle to open the lock.
- Rotate the shackle 90 degrees (a quarter turn) counter-clockwise.
- Push the shackle down firmly into the lock body.
- While holding the shackle down, set your desired 4-digit combination by rotating the number wheels. Ensure the numbers are aligned with the indicator line.
- Once your new combination is set, pull the shackle up.
- Rotate the shackle back 90 degrees clockwise to its original locked position.
- Scramble the numbers to secure the lock. Your new combination is now set.
Important Note:
If you mis-program the combination, the lock may become unusable. Always ensure the shackle is fully pushed down when setting the new combination. When returning the shackle to the locked position, do not hold it down; simply rotate it until it pops up.
