1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the NWOUIIAY Portable Air Compressor. This device is designed for convenient and efficient inflation of various items such as car tires, motorcycle tires, bicycle tires, balls, and small inflatable toys. Featuring a 150PSI maximum pressure, 12V power, a 6000mAh battery, and an LCD digital display, it offers portability and ease of use. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and correct usage.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Always keep the device away from children.
  • Do not operate the compressor in wet conditions or near flammable liquids or gases.
  • Avoid prolonged continuous operation. If the device becomes hot, allow it to cool down before further use.
  • Do not exceed the recommended pressure for the item being inflated. Over-inflation can cause damage or injury.
  • Ensure the inflation hose is securely connected to both the compressor and the item's valve before starting.
  • This inflator is not suitable for large inflatable items such as vans, coaches, caravans, trucks, large inflatable mattresses, or large inflatable toys. It cannot replace high-power compressors.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

4. Product Overview and Controls

Familiarize yourself with the components and control buttons of your portable air compressor.

  • Display Screen: Shows current pressure, preset pressure, and selected pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA, KG/CM²).
  • '+' / '-' Keys: Adjust preset pressure values.
  • Start Button: Initiates or stops the inflation process.
  • Inflation Switch: Powers on/off the inflation function.
  • Emergency Light Switch: Activates the LED light and SOS light functions.

The LCD display allows you to monitor pressure readings and select from four different pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA, KG/CM²). The device also features a compact design for portability.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Compressor

Before first use, fully charge the portable air compressor. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charge port on the device and to a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charge indicator light will show the charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

5.2 Attaching the Inflation Hose and Adapters

Screw the flexible inflation hose securely into the inflatable tube interface on the compressor. Select the appropriate adapter for the item you wish to inflate and attach it to the other end of the flexible hose.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to inflate your items safely and effectively.

Step 3: Long press the gear button for 3 seconds to wake up the tire pressure gauge, short press for 1 second to switch the unit setting, and use '+' or '-' keys to set the number. Step 4: Press the inflation switch key to start the air pump and begin inflation.

  1. Connect the Inflation Tube: Screw the flexible hose onto the compressor's inflation port.
  2. Attach to Valve: Connect the appropriate adapter (if needed) and firmly press the inflation nozzle onto the tire valve or item's inflation port.
  3. Power On and Set Pressure:
    • Long press the 'gear' button (often the power/mode button) for 3 seconds to wake up the tire pressure gauge and display the current pressure.
    • Short press the 'gear' button for 1 second to cycle through pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA, KG/CM²). Select your desired unit.
    • Use the '+' and '-' keys to set your desired target pressure.
  4. Start Inflation: Press the inflation switch key (often indicated by a power symbol or play symbol) to start the air pump. The compressor will automatically stop once the preset pressure is reached.
  5. Disconnect: Once inflation is complete, quickly disconnect the nozzle from the valve to minimize air loss.

6.1 Using the LED Light

Press the Emergency Light Switch to turn on the integrated LED light for illumination in dark environments. Press it again to activate the SOS flashing mode for emergencies. Press a third time to turn off the light.

Note: This electric inflator is not designed for large vehicles like vans, coaches, caravans, or trucks, nor for large inflatable items such as large mattresses or large inflatable toys. It is not a substitute for high-power compressors.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the compressor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure no water enters the device's openings.

7.2 Storage

When not in use, store the compressor and its accessories in the provided portable bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the device is fully charged before long-term storage to maintain battery health.

The compressor is designed with a cooling system to manage heat during operation. If the device feels excessively hot during use, pause operation and allow it to cool down before resuming.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Compressor does not turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
  • Compressor runs but does not inflate: Check if the inflation hose is securely connected to both the compressor and the item's valve. Ensure the valve is not blocked.
  • Inaccurate pressure reading: Ensure the nozzle is firmly attached to the valve without air leakage. Calibrate the device if possible (refer to specific model instructions if available).
  • Device overheats: Stop operation immediately and allow the compressor to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes. Avoid continuous operation for extended periods.
  • Battery drains quickly: Ensure the device is fully charged before use. Battery performance can degrade over time.
