Safety Information

• Eye Safety: Do not look directly into the LED light or shine it directly into the eyes of people or animals. The intense light can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.
• Battery Safety:
  • Use only recommended 18650 rechargeable batteries.
  • Ensure correct battery polarity (+/-) when inserting.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in fire; they may explode.
  • If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
• Heat: The flashlight may become warm during prolonged use, especially on high settings. This is normal. Avoid direct contact with hot surfaces for extended periods.
• Water Resistance: The UF-6880 is rated IPX-4 for water resistance, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction. It is not designed for submersion.
• Children: Keep out of reach of children.

Familiarize yourself with the components of your UltraFire UF-6880 flashlight:

• Flashlight Head: Contains the LED emitter and lens. This section can be extended or retracted for zoom functionality.
• Body: The main housing, featuring anti-scratch knurling for grip and a pocket clip for secure carrying.
• Tail Cap: Houses the power button and battery compartment.
• USB Charging Port: Located on the flashlight body (often under a protective cover) for convenient recharging.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Insert one 18650 rechargeable battery into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head (LED).
3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

2. Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Refer to the "Charging" section for detailed instructions.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To turn the flashlight ON, press the power button located on the tail cap until it clicks.
• To turn the flashlight OFF, press the power button again until it clicks.

Changing Lighting Modes

The UF-6880 features 5 lighting modes: High, Medium, Low, Strobe, and SOS.

1. With the flashlight ON, lightly press the power button (without clicking) to cycle through the modes in the following order: High → Medium → Low → Strobe → SOS.
2. To select a mode, fully press the power button until it clicks. The flashlight will remember the last used mode when turned off and on again.

Adjustable Focus (Zoom Function)

The flashlight features an adjustable focus mechanism to switch between a wide floodlight and a concentrated spotlight.

• To adjust the focus, gently push or pull the head of the flashlight.
• Pulling the head outwards: Narrows the beam for a long-distance spotlight.
• Pushing the head inwards: Widens the beam for a broad floodlight.

Charging

The UltraFire UF-6880 flashlight is equipped with a convenient USB charging function.

1. Locate the USB charging port on the flashlight body. It may be covered by a rubber flap for protection against dust and water.
2. Open the protective flap and insert the small end of the provided USB charging cable into the flashlight's port.
3. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, power bank).
4. An indicator light (if present) will typically show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the USB cable and securely close the protective flap over the charging port.

Important: Ensure the charging port is dry before connecting the USB cable. Do not charge the flashlight if it or the cable is wet.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth.
• For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
• Clean the lens gently with a lens cleaning cloth to maintain optimal light output.

Storage

• Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• If storing for an extended period (more than a month), remove the 18650 battery to prevent potential leakage and damage to the flashlight.

Battery Care

• Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
• Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently, as this can reduce its overall capacity.
• Replace the battery if you notice a significant decrease in runtime or brightness.

The UltraFire UF-6880 Rechargeable LED Tactical Flashlight comes with a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, unauthorized modification or repair, or failure to follow the instructions in this manual. Consumable parts such as batteries are not covered by this warranty.
