3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation

4.2 Selecting Material Type
Before taking a measurement, press the MODE button to select the appropriate material type for the surface you are testing. The selected material will be indicated on the display.
- Drywall: For gypsum board and similar materials.
- Masonry: For concrete, brick, and stone.
- Hardwood: For dense wood types.
- Softwood: For less dense wood types.
4.3 Taking a Measurement
To measure moisture content:
- Ensure the meter is ON and the correct material type is selected.
- Place the back of the meter flat against the surface you wish to test. Ensure full contact for accurate readings.
- The digital display will show the relative moisture percentage, and the LED bar graph will provide a visual indication of moisture levels (Dry to Wet).
- To hold a reading, press the HOLD button. Press it again to release.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning

5.2 Battery Replacement

5.3 Storage
When not in use, store the meter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
