Figure 4.2: Illustrates the motion detection feature, showing an alert notification on a smartphone when activity is detected by the camera.
4.4 Night Vision Modes
The camera supports different night vision modes. It can automatically switch to infrared (IR) night vision in low light conditions, providing clear black and white images. Additionally, it features white LEDs that can illuminate the area for full-color night vision or act as a deterrent when motion is detected.

Figure 4.3: Shows the camera's night vision capabilities, highlighting the 4 white lights and 3 IR LEDs for up to 30 meters of night vision.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Firmware Updates: Check the mobile app periodically for firmware updates. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.
- Power Supply: Ensure a stable power supply. For solar-powered models, keep the solar panel clean and free from obstructions to maximize charging efficiency.
- SD Card Management: If using an SD card, periodically review and back up important footage. The camera will overwrite older footage once the card is full.
6. Troubleshooting
- Camera Disconnected: If the camera frequently disconnects, ensure it is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router and that the signal strength is adequate. Try repositioning the camera or router.
- Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi: Double-check your Wi-Fi password. Ensure your router is operating on a 2.4GHz frequency, as the camera does not support 5GHz networks. Perform a camera reset if necessary (hold the reset button for 5 seconds).
- SD Card Not Detected: Ensure the SD card is correctly inserted and formatted within the camera's settings via the app. If the issue persists, try a different compatible SD card.
- Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure there are no obstructions in the camera's field of view. Check your internet connection speed for live streaming issues.
- Motion Alerts Not Working: Verify that motion detection is enabled in the app settings and that notification permissions are granted for the app on your smartphone. Adjust sensitivity settings if needed.
