Setup
- Initial Charging: Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the included power cable to the AC input on the rear panel and plug it into a standard AC outlet. The charge indicator light will illuminate.
- Placement: Position the speaker on a stable, flat surface. For optimal sound projection, consider using the integrated 1-3/8 inch speaker stand mount to elevate the speaker. The tilt-back design allows for angled placement when used on the floor.
- Power On: Locate the POWER switch on the rear panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position. The power indicator light will illuminate.

Operating Instructions
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Press and hold the PAIR button on the rear panel until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select "Samson Escape+" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will glow solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly.
Using Microphone Input
- Connect a wired microphone to the 1/4" MIC INPUT on the rear panel.
- Adjust the MIC VOLUME knob to control the microphone's level independently.
Using Auxiliary Input
- Connect an audio player or other line-level device to the 1/8" AUX INPUT using a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Adjust the MASTER VOLUME knob to control the overall output level, including the auxiliary input.
Using USB Wireless Port
The USB wireless port is designed for use with Samson XPD Series USB Digital Wireless Systems (sold separately). Insert the XPD Series USB receiver into this port to integrate a wireless microphone or instrument system.
Charging the Battery
When the battery level is low, the charge indicator light may change color or flash. Connect the speaker to an AC power source using the provided power cable to recharge the internal battery. The speaker can be used while charging.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
