Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

2. Power Connection

Connect the supplied power cable to the AC IN port on the rear panel of the amplifier and then to a suitable electrical outlet.

3. Instrument Connection

Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.

4. Optional Connections

  • FBV Pedal: Connect an optional Line 6 FBV foot controller to the FBV PEDAL jack on the rear panel for hands-free control of presets and effects.
  • Line 6 FBV footswitch connected to an amplifier.

  • USB: Connect the amplifier to a computer (Mac/PC) or mobile device (iOS/Android) via the USB port for recording, editing tones with the Spider V Remote app, and firmware updates.

  • AUX IN: Connect an external audio player to the AUX IN jack to play along with backing tracks.

Classic Speaker Mode

Engage the Classic Speaker mode for an organic sound and feel, emulating traditional guitar amplifier cabinets. This mode provides a different tonal response compared to the full-range speaker mode.

Wireless Receiver

The Spider V60 MkII features a built-in wireless receiver compatible with Line 6 Relay transmitters. This allows for cable-free instrument connection. Refer to your Line 6 Relay transmitter manual for pairing instructions.

Metronome and Drum Loops

Troubleshooting
