2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Package Contents

2.2 Charging the Battery
The camera features a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge:
- Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the camera's USB port.

- The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when charging is complete.

2.3 Loading Instax Mini Film
To load film:
- Open the film compartment cover on the back of the camera.
- Align the yellow mark on the film pack with the yellow mark on the camera.
- Insert the film pack straight into the compartment. Do not press down on the film pack.
- Close the film compartment cover securely. The camera will automatically eject the black film cover sheet.
Note:
- Only use Fujifilm Instax Mini Instant Film.
- Do not open the film compartment cover until all 10 exposures have been used, as this will expose the remaining film and render it unusable.
2.4 Inserting a MicroSD Card (Optional)
The camera has internal memory for a limited number of photos. For extended storage, insert a microSD card:
- Locate the microSD card slot, usually on the side or bottom of the camera.
- Insert the microSD card with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in until it clicks, then release.
2.5 Installing the Instax Mini LiPlay App
To utilize smartphone printing and other advanced features, download the dedicated Instax Mini LiPlay app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button (typically on the side) for a few seconds to turn the camera on or off.
3.2 Taking a Photo
- Turn on the camera.
- Frame your shot using the LCD screen.
- Press the shutter button to capture the image.
- The captured image will appear on the LCD screen for review.
3.3 Printing a Photo
After taking a photo or selecting one from the gallery:
- On the LCD screen, navigate to the desired image.
- Press the print button (usually indicated by a printer icon).
- The camera will begin printing the image. The print will emerge from the top slot.
3.4 Using the Audio Function
The LiPlay allows you to record a short audio clip and embed it as a QR code on your instant print:
- Before or after taking a photo, press the audio record button.
- Record your message (up to 10 seconds).
- When printing the image, select the option to include the audio QR code.
- Scan the QR code on the printed photo with a smartphone to play the audio.
3.5 Smartphone Printing (Direct Print)
To print photos from your smartphone:
- Ensure the camera is on and Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the Instax Mini LiPlay app on your smartphone.
- Connect the app to your camera via Bluetooth.
- Select the desired image from your smartphone's gallery within the app.
- Use the app's print function to send the image to the camera for printing.
3.6 Applying Filters and Frames
The camera offers various filters and frames to enhance your photos:
