1. Introduction and Overview

The EverNary Dog Door Bell system is designed to assist in potty training your dog and signaling when they need to go outside. This wireless system features a sensitive touch transmitter and a plug-in receiver, offering convenience and reliability for pet owners.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Receiver Setup

The receiver is designed for simple plug-and-play operation. Simply plug the receiver into any standard AC electrical outlet within your home. Ensure it is placed in a location where the chime can be easily heard throughout the desired area.

3.2 Transmitter Setup

The transmitter can be mounted in various locations depending on your dog's size and your preference. It can be placed on a door, floor, or wall. Use the provided Velcro adhesive pads to secure the transmitter. The sensitive touch area allows activation with a paw or nose.

For optimal use, consider placing it near the door your dog uses to go outside. The transmitter is IP55 waterproof, allowing for placement under eaves outdoors if needed for your dog to signal coming back inside.

3.3 Pairing the Transmitter and Receiver

The units typically come pre-paired. If re-pairing is necessary or if you add additional transmitters/receivers:

1. Plug in the receiver.
2. On the receiver, press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds until it enters pairing mode (indicated by a specific light or sound).
3. While the receiver is in pairing mode, activate the transmitter by pressing its touch area. The receiver should chime, indicating successful pairing.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Volume and Ringtones

The receiver offers 55 different ringtones and 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (mute) to 110dB. This allows you to customize the sound to your preference and ensure it's audible in any room.

• Use the "Forward" and "Backward" buttons on the receiver to cycle through the 55 available ringtones.
• Use the "Volume Control" button to adjust the sound level. Press repeatedly to cycle through the 5 volume settings.
• A flashing indicator light on the receiver provides a visual alert when the bell is activated.

4.2 Dog Potty Training Guide

Consistent training is key to success. Here’s a recommended approach:

1. Introduce the Bell: During feeding times, or when you know your dog needs to go outside, guide their paw or nose to gently touch the transmitter.
2. Immediate Reward: As soon as your dog activates the bell, praise them enthusiastically and immediately open the door to let them out.
3. Consistency is Crucial: Always take your dog outside when they ring the bell, even if you suspect they might just want to play. This reinforces the association between ringing the bell and going outside.
4. Avoid Barking/Scratching: The bell provides an alternative for your dog to communicate their needs, helping to reduce unwanted barking or scratching at the door.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement (Transmitter)

The transmitter is powered by a 12V 23A battery. When the bell's performance diminishes or it stops working, it may be time to replace the battery.

1. Carefully detach the transmitter from its mounted surface (if using Velcro).
2. Using the provided mini screwdriver, remove the screws on the back cover of the transmitter.
3. Gently open the cover and replace the old 12V 23A battery with a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Securely reattach the back cover with the screws.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean the receiver and transmitter, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device's surface or internal components. The transmitter is waterproof (IP55), but the receiver is not and should be kept dry.

6. Troubleshooting

• Bell Not Ringing:
  • Ensure the receiver is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Check the transmitter's battery. If the battery is low or depleted, replace it (refer to Section 5.1).

  • Ensure the transmitter's touch area is being activated correctly by your dog.
• Reduced Operating Range:

  • A low battery in the transmitter can also affect range.
• Unwanted Chimes:
