1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Rainy King LP-E8 Battery Charger. This charger is designed to power LP-E8 type batteries for compatible Canon EOS Rebel series cameras.

Important: Always verify your battery's part number before use. This charger is specifically designed for LP-E8 batteries. If your battery is not an LP-E8, this charger is not compatible.

2. Compatibility

The Rainy King LP-E8 Battery Charger is compatible with batteries labeled LP-E8 and can be used with the following Canon camera models:

3. Package Contents

The package includes:

  • 1 x Rainy King LP-E8 AC Wall Charger

Batteries, car adapters, and European plugs are not included.

4. Setup and Operation

4.1 Verifying Battery Type

Before charging, ensure your battery is an LP-E8 type. Check the label on your battery (not the camera) for the part number.

4.2 Inserting the Battery

Align the battery terminals (+ to +, - to -) with the corresponding contacts in the charger slot. Gently slide the battery into the charger until it is securely seated.

4.3 Connecting to Power

The charger features a built-in foldable plug. Extend the prongs and plug the charger directly into a standard AC 100V-240V wall outlet.

4.4 Charging Indicator

The charger is equipped with an LED indicator to show the charging status:

  • Red LED: Indicates the battery is currently charging.
  • Green LED: Indicates charging is complete.
