2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove the AXC35 CD player from its packaging.
  • Check that all accessories, including the remote control and power cable, are present.

2.2 Placement

  • Place the CD player on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive vibration.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

2.3 Audio Connections

Connect the AXC35 to your amplifier using one of the following methods:

  • Analog RCA Output: Use a high-quality RCA cable to connect the 'Line Output' (L/R) on the AXC35 to an available analog input on your amplifier.
  • Digital Coaxial Output: For digital connection, use a coaxial cable to connect the 'Digital Output' (Coaxial) on the AXC35 to a digital coaxial input on your amplifier or external DAC.

2.4 Power Connection

  • Connect the supplied power cable to the AC power inlet on the rear of the AXC35 and then to a suitable wall outlet.

2.5 Remote Control

  • Insert the two supplied AAA batteries into the remote control, ensuring correct polarity.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

  • Press the power button on the front panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

3.2 Loading a CD

  • Press the 'Open/Close' button (triangle icon) on the front panel or remote to open the disc tray.
  • Place a CD, CD-R, CD-RW, or CD-ROM (with MP3/WMA files) onto the tray with the label side facing up.
  • Press the 'Open/Close' button again to close the tray. The player will begin reading the disc.

3.3 Playback Controls

  • Play/Pause: Press the 'Play/Pause' button (triangle/two vertical bars icon) to start or pause playback.
  • Stop: Press the 'Stop' button (square icon) to halt playback.
  • Skip Track: Use the 'Skip Forward' (double arrow right) or 'Skip Backward' (double arrow left) buttons to navigate between tracks.
  • Fast Forward/Rewind: Hold down the 'Skip Forward' or 'Skip Backward' buttons during playback to fast forward or rewind within a track.

3.4 Digital Output Usage

  • The dedicated digital output allows you to record from a CD to a digital format or connect to a standalone DAC for further sound enhancement.

  • The remote control provides full functionality for power, disc tray operation, playback controls, and other settings.
