Operating Instructions
1. Turning On/Off
- To turn on: Press the 'ON/OFF' button.
- To turn off: Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for a few seconds, or the scale will automatically shut off after 180 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.
2. Unit Conversion
The scale supports multiple units of measurement. To switch between units:
- Press the 'MODE' button repeatedly to cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), troy ounces (ozt), pennyweights (dwt), carats (ct), and grains (gn).
- The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

3. Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the contents.
- Place an empty container on the center of the weighing pan.
- Wait for the display to stabilize.
- Press the 'TARE' button. The display will reset to '0.000'.
- Place the item(s) to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the item(s).

4. Calibration
Regular calibration ensures the highest accuracy of your scale. Use the included 20g calibration weight.
- Turn on the scale and wait for '0.000' to appear.
- Press and hold the 'MODE' button until 'CAL' is displayed, then release.
- Press 'MODE' again. The display will flash '20.000'.
- Carefully place the 20g calibration weight on the center of the weighing pan.
- Wait for the display to show 'PASS', then return to normal weighing mode. Calibration is complete.

5. Weighing Items
- Ensure the scale is on a stable surface and displaying '0.000'.
- Carefully place the item(s) to be weighed on the center of the weighing pan.
- Read the stable weight displayed on the LCD.
- For optimal accuracy, place items within the designated circle on the platform.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Storage: Store the scale in a clean, dry environment. The clamshell design helps protect the weighing surface and buttons.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
